Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to give detailed knowledge about the functioning of derivative financial investment tools the basic concepts of the course including the examination of the different objectives and fields of uses.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to define basic concepts related to futures.
  • will be able to express the functioning of futures and derivative transactions.
  • will be able to distinguish the differences of derivative transactions.
  • will be able to express the purposes of derivative transactions.
  • will be able to use derivatives for risk management.
Course Description In this course, students will learn the basic concepts of the types of derivative investment tools and also the functioning and purposes of each.
