Course Objectives The aim of this course is to explain the methods of insurance companies to manage their risks and teh concept of reinsurance, to evaluate the process of insurance claims in both perspectives of insured and insurer counterparts.
Course Description The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to identify risks.
  • will be able to explain the methods of insurance companies to manage their risks.
  • will be able to express the basic information related to the risk and claims management.
  • will be able to list the liability of the insurer and the insured after the damage occured.
  • will be able to list the factors which affect damage compensation.
  • will be able to express the expert valuation practices, on the basis of each branch
Course Content The subject of course is about the claims management, risk management and reinsurance.
