Course Objectives The aim of this course is to provide students the most basic concepts of insurance system.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to express the definition and elements of the insurance.
  • will be able to evaluate the economic and social importance of insurance and contributions.
  • will be able to recognize the insurance documents.
  • will be able to distinguish between types of insurance.
  • will be able to recognize institutions in the system.
Course Description The content of this course consists of several main topics that are; the history and importance of insurance, insurance applications in Turkey and worldwide, social security insurance applications and private insurance relations.
